Sarai is a first-generation high school and college graduate from Denton, Texas. She grew up fascinated by the arts and has been working in theater since the 6th grade.

Sarai began her career in Lighting Design in high school, often designing and programming the lighting for local dance companies and school-wide events. She then decided to follow her passion for lighting into college, studying at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While there, she found that her passion for Lighting went beyond just design; she also enjoys programming and electrics and has spent the past 4 years studying all three tracks.

Sarai is adept at managing multiple roles, having spent the past several years balancing professional engagements across North Carolina alongside her academic commitments.
